Broward Trust Moves Historic House


A few drizzles did not deter the planned move of the 82 year old craftsman style bungalow, the Annie Beck House from 310 SE 11th Av in downtown Fort Lauderdale to its new location at the Middle River Terrace Park. The house was moved on Sunday, July 27 as crews carefully moved power lines and other obstructions. Motorists along Las Olas, Broward Blvd. and Federal Highway who weren't prepared to see a house blocking traffic were rerouted by police. Read more of this article.
